The original Storm.

Origins

  • A magical Storm was the source of Brilliance Magic, spreading its influence.
  • In the beginning of time, eusocial creatures, such as Myrmaran and fungi, began wielding this magic, clashing in a struggle for dominance but eventually finding balance.

The Aeons and Creation of Species

  • The Aeons, children of the storm, were born from its power.
  • One Aeon merged with the early species, creating the Tharn and Leviathans.
  • The Tharn overthrew the Leviathans who had ruled humankind.

Brilliance and the First Species

  • The Tharn began experimenting, trying to emulate the Myrmaran.
  • The first attempt created the Chammy. They were initially valued but later neglected.
  • The Tharn later created the Peckers, a species that was highly communicative (eusocial) but directly ruled by them.
  • Soon these experiments created a clash against the Myrmaran, and the Tharn sent the Peckers against them.
  • To defend, the Myrmaran allied with Chammy and evolved humanoid species (dwarves, Aelves, humans, orcs, goblins) to train and resist the Tharn.
  • Either the Tharn or the Storm created the Sheven, an external plane that absorbed the Myrmaran.
